Autumn 2021 - Gather, discover and build
During the autumn term of 2021 we're going to continue to follow Luke's Gospel at our Sunday morning services. It provides a wonderful and constant reminder of some of the core things about Jesus’ invitation to follow him so that we can become a church on the way. I've shared a brief introduction to Luke’s gospel that you might find helpful here.
As we come out of the pandemic, we're going to have three areas of focus- gather, discover and build.
Gather together - the people of God have been designed to meet together so that we can encourage one another and refocus on God's purpose for us as we meet with him. If you haven't had a chance to already, we encourage you to look at the Why church series that Mark did over the summer. Six short videos to help us reflect on what it means to gather.
Initially, we’re planning Sunday morning services only. These will be at 9am for the Sanctuary service and 11am as a more informal gathering. This will include children's work three Sundays a month. The services will also be made available as either livestreams or recorded services (where they include children) so please watch out on YouTube, Facebook and the website. There will also be other opportunities for prayer and worship, and another wonderful team is putting together youth-work.
Discover God’s Heart - looking at God's word is the foundation point for all of us so we can discover his heart in reconciling all things to himself. This term, we are beginning a journey together to rediscover God's heart for those around us. We invite every single person at All Saints to be part of some kind of small group as we go on this adventure together. Discover God's heart.
Build the Future - as the ROCK project picks up pace, you might have noticed that some drilling machines have arrived. Over the course of this term we will provide more resources and updates preparing for an opportunity to give to the project in spring 2021.
