Mandy is married to Paul and has four children. She and Paul met in London at the Roehampton Institute where they studied English and Art, before completing a PGCE teacher training course. Mandy taught at a junior school in Brixton before starting a family. She then worked for Croydon’s home tuition service supporting young people who had been excluded from school.
The growing family moved to Bath from London in 1994 when Paul became deputy head at WASPS. They felt at home in All Saints as soon as they arrived here. The children have grown up now and love travelling. Mandy and Paul try to keep up with them as they study and work around the world, which is good fun and takes them to places they probably would not have visited otherwise.
Mandy joined the staff team as Pastoral Care coordinator in 2004, and enjoys helping to build a strong and supportive community.
She is the point of contact for pastoral needs and organises Pastoral Visiting, the Pastoral Care Team and the Prayer Chain. She also oversees Home Groups and Prayer Triplets and supports 3TL (3rd Tuesday Lunch), the Newcomers Supper and Office Prayers.
Mandy also enjoys hosting international students and keeping the house full and busy. She unwinds by making regular visits to the gym, and enjoys curling up with a Sudoku and a sherry!
